Thank you for choosing Budget Bins. To ensure efficient and safe service, the following terms and conditions apply.
- Payment and Price
All prices quoted and charged for the Skip Bin hire and services are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.
In the event of honest mistakes or unforeseen variations to any details, we reserve the right to change the price and advise you either in writing, in person, or through the means of a phone call.
We have multiple payment options including Cash, Card, and EFT. We offer flexible payment arrangements where payment can be made either before delivery, on delivery, or after delivery.
- Hire Terms
Standard hire of Skip Bins is 1-7 days unless otherwise pre-arranged.
To extend the hire period we need to be contacted preferably by phone 24 hrs before collection. An additional $20.00 per day hire fee applies. (Only able to extend hire if we confirm bins are available).
- Delivery
To place a Skip Bin, the minimum delivery access is a height clearance of 4m and a width clearance of 3m. If access is denied or blocked on the delivery/collection date and we have to return at a later date, then an additional call-out fee/futile fee applies.
Please note: Delivery charges apply to certain areas like the Gold Coast, Logan, Bayside, and areas of Brisbane. These prices are subject to change without notice.
- Skip Bin Placement
The placement of the Skip Bin is at the driver’s discretion. This is due to our Public Liability requirements as per our Insurance Company and Occupation Health and Safety Requirements. If we are restricted by access or unable to safely unload the Skip Bin, then a call-out/futile fee applies.
Skip Bins are not to be moved from the delivery position and access must be maintained to allow the safe collection of bins. The Customer is responsible for any costs to get the Skip Bin to a position where we can then safely remove the Skip Bin.
Skip Bins will not be placed on roadways or concrete footpaths without a valid permit. Permits for placement of Skip Bins on roadway/pedestrian footpaths are to be sourced by the customer.
- Filling the Bin
ONLY fill to the top rim of the Skip Bin. Any overfill may be left behind or we will inform the customer to repack the bin. A call-out/futile fee will apply.
- Contamination of load fees
Any asbestos placed in our Skip Bins will be charged an additional $3000.00 plus any other applicable costs. The Customer is liable for any additional fees for all separation and dumping fees.
If asbestos is found in a Skip Bin after it has been tipped the Customer will be liable for all additional decontamination costs, asbestos-impacted material disposal charges, environmental penalties, clean-up, and transport costs. The Customer will also be liable for any Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A) fines and charges.
As per EPA Schedule 7 – Restricted waste is not to be placed in Skip Bins. Failure to comply will incur additional fees/repack notice or the displacing of contents of the bin onsite.
- NO Asbestos / NO Tyres / NO Liquid or Hazardous Waste / NO Wet Concrete. ● NO Paint / Fuel / OIL / Batteries / Tree Stumps / Food waste / Nappies / Mattresses
Fire Ant areas require a permit to remove soil, to be sourced by the customer.
- Damages
Any damages or defacing of the Skip Bin during the term of the hire period are at the Customer’s expense. We will not negotiate said costs with third parties to reclaim costs.
The customer is liable for any cleaning fees to remove any Wet Concrete/Granite/Paint /Plaster/ etc. i.e.- disfiguring the interior/exterior of the bin.
No Fires are to be lit in Bins. (The Customer is liable for bin/repair replacement)
- Overweight Charges
This will apply if the Skip Bin is overloaded or over the allocated weight allowance. These charges are payable at $30.00 per 100kg. Budget Bins retain the right to leave any overfill/excess waste behind.
Please note we face prosecution/fines for unsafe/overloaded or overweight loads as per Transport Regulation 2005 and Heavy Vehicle National Law and Chain of Responsibility 2018.
- Refund Policy
To cancel an order we require 24 hours’ notice. Once the Skip Bin has been dispatched/delivered a refund is not applicable.
- Privacy Policy
Budget Bins will not transfer any client data/details to any other parties. Credit Card payments are processed by an Accredited Secure Payment Gateway provider.
- Limitation of Liability
To indemnify Budget Bins for any damage to your property/driveway/pathway/underground services or any other surfaces as a result of placement or collection of skip bin by function performed. Budget Bins does not accept or will be held liable for any loss regarding credit card payments processed by our Accredited Payment Gateway provider.
Budget Bins retains the right to terminate skip bin hire delivery/collection.
ANY BREACH OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CHARGES!
